Artificial Intelligence: People Have it All Wrong

In today's day and age, when most people hear the term 'Artificial Intelligence' or AI, they immediately think of Chat GPT or programs that act as art generators. Although the usage of artificial intelligence is becoming popular and common, all people associated it with is using to finish their projects and assignments, or using it to have a little fun. However, people don't understand the true potential it holds, and how humans can use it to remain on top.

The working force has several opinions on what the future will look like with artificial intelligence playing a big societal role. As AI seems to be on everyone's radar, all people seem to worry about is how these advancements will leave everyone jobless. In part, this is true. With AI having quite the impact on businesses and large corporations, there will be a shift in the job market. Some jobs may be taken, while other jobs may be created, and others may be modified to cater any new needs. Nonetheless, assumptions like the following have left people having a skewed outlook on this concept. Moreover, the majority fail to focus on the ways AI advancements can help them in a professional and financial manner.

Todd Kelsey, author of, "Surfing the Tsunami", mentions in his book that following the money trail comes with understanding the correlation between business, data, and investments. Kelsey iterates in his book, "the better data that a business has, the more profitable you can be... you are armed with the power that comes from data". An individual can use resources that come from artificial intelligence, including data on anything they would like to pursue, to further their research on a certain investment or project. By acting on the data they retrieve, the chances of being ahead, and seeing success will undoubtedly remain high.

Nonetheless, if there's anything our population needs to avoid, it's having a negative outlook on change. In order to grow and evolutionize, every person needs to learn to adapt to their current times. With artificial intelligence becoming so relevant in today's environment, society needs to look at the positive ways artificial intelligence can benefit them, rather than dwelling on the negative ways it can tear them down. People will have it all wrong.
