Google and AI: An Unbreakable Bond
Throughout Todd Kelsey's book, "Surfing the Tsunami", the importance of adapting to the changes of artificial intelligence (AI) is repeatedly emphasized. Learning to adapt, especially as a realist, isn't hard. It just takes time. Therefore, it's important to "trust the process of the community", all while staying relaxed and calm learning about AI (Kelsey, 2018).
Google is a successful company that has always learned to adapt with the current times, which is why it is considered the top search engine in the world. As Kelsey describes it, Google is an "AI-first company". It has successfully adopted AI and has used it to expand and make a profit on a variety of things, including the generating of advertisements.
Google ads is a successful product of artificial intelligence. By using data on automating routine work, AI has allowed the company to generate complex ad campaigns that are accustomed to a variety of web users.
Something we've seen earlier and several years ago is the advances of Google's search engine. Web users wouldn't finish writing half a sentence, and there would already be a variety of search choices to pick from. At first, people would think this was unnecessary. But as time passed, it is something people have become accustomed to and highly relied on.
Through the works of automation in AI, Google and other companies that adopted this new form of living have highly benefitted throughout the years. It's allowed their companies to soar high and advance into something nobody could've imagined. Nonetheless, learning to adopt and have an unbreakable bond with AI will result in the opening of several doors and opportunities, for both individuals and companies.
